The best one yet...

Visionaries lyrically "take it up a notch" over stellar production by: Jay Dee aka J Dilla, Kev Brown, J Rocc, DJ Khalil, Madlib, Polyhedron, James Alsander, and Visionaries members KeyKool & Rhettmatic. The posse cut "Need to Learn" features Rakaa Iriscience (Dilated Peoples), hip-hop legends, Brother J (X Clan), YZ, Sadat X (Brand Nubian), and RBX (of Dr. Dre's the "Chronic" album). Other guests include the talented vocalist/producer Georgia Anne Muldrow (Stones Throw), keyboardist Ikey Owens (Look Daggers / Free Moral Agents / The Mars Volta), and DJ Shortkut of the Beat Junkies. This is the album "we've been waiting for..."

THIS ALBUM IS DOPE!!!!!!

If anyone isn't familiar with the Visionaries, they are practically hip-hop royalty. Straight from the LA underground, i love their previous three albums (Gallerires, Sophomore Jinx, Pangaea), but "We Are The Ones" might be their best one yet. It has me humming to the tunes and beats all day, everyday. If you dont like this album, you arent a true hip-hop fan. In fact, i think anyone who listens to music will like this album in one way or another...ITS THAT GOOD!!!! So spread the word, the new album is here, its hot, and the Visionaries are here to stay...

Flawless in every way.

To those that don't know the Visionaries they've been putting it down for the LA hip hop scene for a while. I've been waiting for this release for a while now and to no disappointment. There previous albums were sick but this one truly shines. My favs gotta be In the Good, All We Need and School Daze but honestly every track is pretty fresh in itself. Step aside from 99% of that so called hip-hop and marinate on some pure and conscious music, don't sleep!!!!!
