Outstanding
I saw these two guys at the House of Blues in Dallas opening for the Old 97's. They completely blew me away. Great lyrics. Talented Musicians. Couldn't recommend them high enough. Can't wait for more music from these two!!!!
Great 2 man band
Got to see The O's live at the end of December with the Old 97's. I wanted to pick up one of their sampler cd's ebfore I left the show but they were completely sold out once I got there. They did and awesome job and should have had a longer set. I've ready for the cd release
A great act!
I saw these guys with the Old 97's at the House of Blues in Dallas, where they told me about their album coming out. They opened for one of my favorite bands, yet I would have easily payed just as much to see The O's on their own. Their live show is exceptionally good, and fun to watch as Taylor and John trade off singing songs. The CD's recording quality seems a little fuzzy, but for me it captures the essence of a band that needs to be experienced live, with friends. Somewhere between the jilted indie-folk of Okkervil River, and the overt country of Son Volt, The O's are one of the most interesting bands that I've heard in a long time. Here's to them staying that way!
