Wild Beast indeed!
this is probably their most pop output. Pop in a dragged through the mud type of way... "Emptyhanded" almost sounds like it can be a sappy singer songwritey thing but then it's played through so much fuzzy//messy//distortion goodness that he could've been singing about unicorns and elves and it'll still be awesome! "Poison the Choir" is Tex exercising his lyrical prowess and is a clever way of giving the listener the idea of what Indian Jewelry is about. My fave is "Horrendous Habits" with Erica Thrasher sounding like a filthier version of Souxsie Sioux while the drums and guitars pound away like a dirty new wave disco filled with zombies//vampires// and yes, Wild Beasts!

makes me fall in love with myself all over again.
