Stunning, moving, inspired music...
Wow. I saw Dick Prall a few years back just as his Fizzlebuzzy album had come out. I liked it enough to preorder a copy of this. This is a stunning album. It somehow feels incredibly raw, live and alive while being so textured and smooth. What the hell does that mean, you say? I have no idea. It's simply a magnificant album. You can't stop singing the hooks layered in thought-provoking lyrical journeys. Music for grown-ups who haven't given up and settled and still seek to be moved and inspired. I could not give this CD a higher review.

Dick Prall exceeded my expectations with his follow-up to the last album (fizzlebuzzie) that I've nearly spun to death. The album opens with the amazing "Halfway To Hollywood," and is followed by every lyric that I've ever thought should belong in a song. DEFINITELY buy this album. Right. Now.
Best of 2007!!!
I first heard Dick Prall's music when he was leading the now defunct Starch Martins. To me that was the best album of 2001, and Dick again has exceeded my expectations with his current release!! How does he keep evolving like this? The string arrangements on this album are amazing. My personal favorites are "Long Play", "Boulevard", "Halfway to Hollywood", and "I Took a Life". Then again, I'm diggin' all the tunes...it's plays well, without a need to hit "skip". Buy this album now!!
