Awesomer than awesome
This is classic Hyland. I love all of it. Very positive and catchy.
Finally!! Hyland is back and rockin' for God!!
I've been following Hyland for about a year and a half now. They came out with their Quotients EP, which was incredible. They have all the songs from that on this album, but have changed the sound a little bit in each one. The new changes are amazing!! "Jumping the Gun" has been improved so much, and it was still pretty sweet before. I don't care too much for the changes in "Heart To Life", but it's still one of my favs on this album. Every single song on here is worthy of 5 stars and even more, so buy this album!! You get awesome music from an awesome band serving a truly awesome God!!
Very Enjoyable
The second new Tooth and Nail band to release music so far this year. I don't feel these guys are as good as I Am Empire personally just because they lack their own sound as a pop punk group. But they truly play their style to perfection. I love the soft song "This Love Is Free" a lot. "Jumping The Gun" is a fun and positive song and a solid opener. And definitely get "The One That Got Away." It features vocals by Stephen Christian of Anberlin. Overall, it's a really good Christian alternative rock/punk album.
