A GOLD ALBUM (literally)

I have been waiting months for this album to be released. Ever since Detektivbyrån announced they were recording I couldn't wait. I pre-ordered this and it's well worth the money spent. The exterior of the album is gold foiling, and I'm even lucky and have it signed by the band,Anders, Martin, and Jon. I recommend the entire album, but some of my favorites are, Generation Celebration,Camping, Life/ Universe, Dygnet runt. This album is suppose to be released in the U.S. on vinyl, so look forward to that!

Fantastic!

This is undoubtedly some of the best music ever written! The unique combination of instruments makes this music a masterpiece. Very nice sound throughout the whole album.

Magical

If you love their earlier work, you won't be disappointed. If you loved Yann Tiersen's Amelie and want more, Detekivbryan should satisfy. It's a similar style, but they have taken it and run - into an amazing, magical world you won't want to leave!

Formed in Wermland, Sweden, in 2005, Detektivbyran is a whimsical trio whose compositions nod to the tender glockenspiel- and accordion-based compositions of Yann Tiersen, the sprightly glitch pop of I Am Robot and Proud, and the click-blippity mania of old-school eight-bit video games. Comprised of multi-instrumentalists Jon Nils Emanuel Ekström, Anders Flanders, and Martin Molin, the group released their first EP, Hemvagen, in the summer of 2006.
