Album Review
Listeners who enjoy John Serrie will really be satisfied by Mark Petersen's collection of space music on West of the Galaxy. This synthesizer music, sampled keyboards and other electronic gear all achieve the sound of space. Some selections feature rippling harp-like arpeggios drifting over a wash of choral chords, some are uptempo selections, some are relaxing, floating voyages and yet others are rock-influenced new age works...

Ho-hum
There are a handful of space tunes here that will serve the purpose of relaxation background music but most of this is what you get when almost anyone is given a synthesizer and a multi-track recorder.
