Simply SUBLIME!!!
I had given up hope that I would ever hear anything from this fabled album. Nearly 3 years later the silence is broken! Thank the gods!!! Ruth Ann is my favorite singer! But don't let my biased opinion sway your judgment on this purchase. First off the album (which unfortunately is digital only. I wish there was a physical hard copy to purchase in stores) is breathtaking from start to finish. Just think of it as all the best parts of Olive and Enigma brought into every track. If you enjoyed Enigma's previous albums The Screen Behind the Mirror and Voyageur you will love this album. Ruth Ann's vocals are nothing short of heavenly! Please support her here on iTunes so that she can continue sharing that goddess like voice with the rest of the world backed by beautiful music! Take the plunge the album speaks for itself!
OUTSTANDING SOLO DEBUT!!!!
I'm so HAPPY and THRILLED to have Ruth Ann's first Solo Album. I think I've been searching for this album for years now and I even signed the petition to get it released. I'm just so thankful she released it one way or another, and I'm just as happy to get this CD via iTunes. This CD is full of magic that is Ruth Ann...her voice is like an Angel and on songs like "Beautiful", "More than Ordinary" and "Drive"....it just sends chills down my spine. This CD joins her styles of Olive and Enigma...and I think each song is crafted well and I'm just amazed by her with each song. Like "Dancing into Hell"...which is about drug abuse and "Letters to heaven" which is about her dad's death. Throughout this CD you feel her happiness at times, and in others, you feel her sorrow...you just don't hear of music like this anymore. There are just SO MANY talentless artists out there and I have NO CLUE as to why they make it big OR are signed by major record labels... and artist like Ruth Ann (who clearly has talent) stuggle to get CD's released or sign onto a record label. I 100% reccomend downloading this Album...you will NOT be disappointed!!! THANKS RUTH ANN FOR A LOVELY AND AMAZING SOLO DEBUT!!!! - John
Couldn't ask for a better album
I've been a follower of Ruth-Ann since she sang on Enigma's "Voyageur" and have been a huge fan ever since. She's just someone I keep close to my heart, don't ask me why though. Overall I'd say it's a very sweet and romantic album, and being Jens Gad-produced, not only is it amazing, but it's also reminisce of Enigma beats and synths. Every song is great, there isn't filler or any skippable tracks. Trust me, if this album didn't deserve 5 stars, then it wouldn't have gotten it!
