why isn't kotzen a mainsream hit?
ok seriously, why isn't kotzen a huge deal world wide. He sounds great...great mellow tunes on this album to realx the listener. It sounds much like a john mayer record. The album cover does a great job a capturing the mood of the record. To me, it sounds like something that sould be more known to people...I think if it was exposed to today's mainstream, it would be a big hit.
Stellar Album
I see so many artists being pushed by major labels right now that have 1/100th the talent this guy has. If Richie Kotzen was pushed as much as guys like John Mayer and Chris Cornell, he would be a world wide star instead of a hidden talent. If you play guitar you may appreciate this guy and know of him, but as a music fan with no ability to play anything, I am really impressed by his voice as much as his songwriting craft. When he puts his ability to use, its a pleasure to listen to every song on every album he has released in the last 10 years. What Is.. might be his most consistent effort that I have purchased yet. Do not forget to purchase Wilson Hawk if you like his voice and more soulful songs.

drummerboy's right... But Richie is just as good if not better than John Mayer. Richie is one of the GREATS!!!
