I miss Jeff

I wish I was still in the band.

A taste of things to come...

If "What Light" is anything like the rest of Sky Blue Sky, then we should have another classic Wilco album. As one of the best bands in the past 10 years, they continue to release creative albums with true rock as it should be and not the pop-rock that you see on MTV/VH1. I can't wait for the new LP and continued sucess for the best band that not many have heard of.

Consistent with their best work

The single definitely reflects an earlier Wilco sound (a la A.M. & Being There) but I wouldn't be quick to judge: The bluegrass and folk influence has always been a key component of Wilco's music. And their last live show on the Ghost tour made it clear the band trying to evolve those influences on contemporary (often electronic) terms. Sorry folks, but if you think this song is lame, you just don't understand Wilco's authenticity. I for one can't wait for the full-length album.
