EVERYthing Breaks Open...

Matt Morris is a pro. But don't worry if you don't know his name. This major label release will solidify his place in the story of pop/soul music for a generation. It's all in here: funk, soul, pop, inspirational orchestrations, stunning vocals and the lyrics of death (which is a good thing). The music of Matt is transportive, so please don't try to do anything BUT listen, especially if you're hearing him for the first time. Open this digital booklet, first, then press play and make a point to remember where you are, so that you can tell everyone exactly where you were, the first time you experienced MATT MORRIS. In another life, I'm sure Matt was a drummer.., he's the most 'in the pocket' singer on the scene today, hands down. There's not a note, phrase, or sigh out of place or out of time. Musically, everything matters and is designed for EVERYTHING to Break Open in you.

Amazing sums it up. There isn't too much more to add when it comes to this album and the talented Matt Morris. What I like best about this album is that there's a little something for everyone. There's fast beats that get you up and moving, songs that are soulful that stir you and really make you think and of course a love song thrown in to boot. No matter what your favorite music genre is, this album is one that won't disappoint!

The son of award-winning country singer Gary Morris, Matt, a multi-instrumentalist, began composing his own music in his teens, eventually reuniting with fellow “Mouskateers” Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera, all of whom scored hits with songs he wrote or co-wrote (Morris and Aguilera provided American Idol Kelly Clarkson...
