Mick Jones and the new-look Foreigner, featuring ex-Hurricane vocalist Kelly Hansen, return with "When It Comes To Love," the lead single off their new 3-disc set, "Can't Slow Down," including the band's first full album of new material in more than 15 years. While the personnel has changed throughout the years, the sound is still distinctly Foreigner, from its catchy hook to its unforgettable sing-along chorus and saxophonist Tom Gimbel adds that unique dynamic that helps define Foreigner's signature sound. Enlisting the writing talent of Marti Frederiksen, Jones and company have returned to form and, while filling the shoes of original vocalist Lou Gramm is certainly a daunting task, Hansen delivers what may well be the band's strongest performance since 4.
Great new music
This really is one of the best Foreigner cds. Solid all the way through, I didn't go see them in SF and I should have. Thanks Foreigner!
