Something new and fresh that crosses many music genres, but all rockin good!
When Something Burns This Bright really redefines Wish Inflicted from its San Francisco Bay area roots to a broader audience crossing a variety of sub genres of rock.
"Cold Rain" really sets off the tone of the album with Cooper belting out the catchy refrains. Then the gears shift with a poppy tune sung by the always cheerful Boyd. Blindsided has some grounding in midwest rock. Celestial has the feel of a top 40 rock song from groups like Coldplay and pushes the album further in its evolution.
The rest of the album follows suit with clever and catchy songs about just about every subject and lyric style. "You & Me" closes the journey with a whimsical beat and vocals that are easy and fun to dance to.
