RENAISSANCE MAN!!

Celebrate and support indie music -- Shad K will be a favourite on your iPod. His is a refreshing voice to join the vital chorus of conscientious emcees, and his name certainly belongs among the echelon with Common, Talib, Mos Def, and the rest. With philosophizing lyrics, a comic undertone, and his acoustic guitar, it's only a matter of time before he becomes true hip hop's new darling. Thanks, Canada!

Don't even hestitate. Click, purchase album, right now, and then allow the music to speak for itself. Shad is never completely out of my music rotation since I first heard him. You will honestly, like others before me, wonder why the heck you hadn't heard of him earlier. His metaphors, for lack of a better term, are without a doubt, the wittiest I have ever heard. You crack a smile every time you finish listening to one, because the way he links objects is stupefying. I could go on forever, but I'll stop here. I'd recommend buying this one first, then his 2nd, but that's only because that's the order I listened to them in. If you like this, I'd recommend either Blackalicious or k-os, to get you started...

Wow...

This blew my mind. I'll Never Understand really made me think about how much garbage that people go through, and that how unfair it is when innocent people are killed simply because they are different...Disgusting. Thank you, Shad.
