3 Doors Down has done it yet again!!!
I am not afraid to admit that this is one of my favorite albums. "Where My Christmas Lives" is absolutely beautiful and inspirational, and it makes me want to have Christmas right now!! And their job on the acoustic versions make the songs sound like new. "Your Arms Feel Like Home" and "It's the Only One Youv'e Got" sound beautiful acoustically, and Brad Arnold's strong, amazing vocals add more power and emotion to the songs. If you can't buy the whole album, I would definitely recommend "Where My Christmas Lives" because it is now one of my favorite Christmas songs EVER. I'd also recommend the other songs I already mentioned, and "Let Me Be Myself," as that song is probably one of Brad's strongest songs. He makes the whole album a beautiful set of rock ballads, and the acoustics are obviously great, so I give this album two thumbs up!! Definitely for the typical rock music fan, and a MUST HAVE for 3 Doors Down fans!!
Another Great Album!
Being one of my all-time favorite bands, 3 Doors Down delivers another great album. Just wish there were more songs on it. These guys are truly talented beyond measure and they prove it time and time again, even when they "strip it down" and perform with just acoustic instruments. All songs except, "Where My Christmas Lives", are acoustic versions of songs from the last album. The song "Where My Christmas Lives" is a great modern, original, Christmas song written by the band and I think it's truly an awesome song. I would highly recommend this EP. PS - If you haven't treated yourself to a concert of theirs, you are truly missing an experience you will never forget!
3 doors down's christmas ''EP''?
Let me say that I am a HUGE 3 doors down fan. Plus, I love Christmas rock music. However, I am a little disappointed in 3DD's Christmas ''EP'' due to the fact there's eight songs & ONLY two Christmas songs (if you count the acoustic version of ''Where My christmas Lives''). The album is great, but it doesn't scream christmas to me. This is just my opinion. If you like 3 doors down, DEFINITELY BUY THIS EP!
