Is it just a mere alphabetical coincidence, that Yasume is literally the next in my playlist after Xela? Perhaps. But the transfer of mood from one to another is flawless. Together with Gabriel Morley (Logreybeam), John Twells (Xela), releases this single classic that sounds absolutely eternal. Melodic IDM with delicately programmed rhythms, digital crunch, and hazy sweeps over punchy beats elevate this album into the classic collection of abstract and experimental downtempo.
