Wherever You Go
Since his arrival in the mid 70's on the music scene in Knoxville Hector has carved a musical totem for himself. His enthusiasm for musical variety is showcased in "Wherever You Go" a portrait of his musical past drawing on the influences of his early Chicago blues days to his adaptations Great Smokiey Mountain Bluegrass that have surrounded him for the past 30 years. His musical journey is at once uplifting and then slips into an emotional plea that is the essence of the musicians musician that is Hector Qirko.
Bluesgrass
This is how stringed instruments are supposed to sound and work together. The lyrics come from a well travelled man and the music comes from his guitar brilliance and the influence of so many friends, met after his move to Tennessee. Why, I beleive that is Hector on the cover with a nifty new hat.
