Cool Find
Synthpop goodness. Love #s 1,4,5 and 10! A couple that didn't grab me at first but totally grew on me--#s 8 and 10--kind of sad but actually pretty songs (stick w/ #10--it may sound dreary at first but it's both haunting and pretty). Love the sax on "Getting You Nowhere"...very 80's cool.
Very Cool Sometimes Sad
Nice electronic / synthpop record here from Chadwick (sometimes known as Chadwick UK!). This is one of the guys from Pleasurecraft. So if you're familiar with them you'll kinda know what to expect. This is more synth/dance oriented than Pleasurecraft though. If you like Calvin Harris, Depeche Mode, or Duran you'll probably dig this. It's pretty fun synthpop but there are also a few weird tracks that don't work as well. The stand outs are definitely "Always Time," "Hang On John," "Thought Controller," and "Adult Contemporary." This is definitely a guy to keep your eyes on. He's been consistently making good music.
