Great, but not the best
A great album, defininitely some good songs, but don't bother buying the whole thing. Ignore the mini-songs, and get the stuff like Needle Park, Sex Pool, and The Best Thing. If you want their best album, get Slave to the Machine.
Ignore people that tell you to ignore stuff
The 'mini-songs' are what make this ep an actual album or sorts - A to Z, get it? "A" flows into "The Best Thing" and "Z" is hilarious. Maybe you can skip "Pet Vulcan", but if you really want the full-on experience of their debut, just buy the album. It's out of print anyway, plus why not throw money at Lynam? Is there really a better band out there. And by all means, do NOT skip "The Party Starts Now" - the one and only single from the album, and the one that got significant airplay on Rick and Bubba. It's cheesy, but in a fun way. Kind of a high school cheerleader type song. Lighten up or get laid or something. "The Best Thing" by Lynam is, incidently, the best thing by Lynam.
