Jake One...BEAST!!!
The first Jake One beat that made me really start paying attention to this guy's production work was "Rock Co.kane Flow", the joint he produced for De La Soul back in '04. And suprisingly to me, the dude had also produced one of my favorite beats on G-Unit's first album, "Better Ask Somebody" back in '03. Well, the Jake One beat magic continues with "White Van Music", a MUST BUY Hip Hop album! Jake just keeps getting better (scary) and I love the fact that he'll hit MF Doom with a crazy beat, as well as, 50 Cent. Jake destroys the media driven (imaginary) line between mainstream & underground. If your beats are dope, what does it matter. Score another '08 victory for HIP HOP!!!!
