Okay
I usually don't listen to this kind of music but I heard about it in my book,searched it and bought a couple songs
Good album but not her strongest
I love Liz Phair, but I love her mostly for Exile in Guyville and for Whip-Smart. This album is super-polished in comparison, but it lacks a lot of the power and resonance that the first two albums had. Maybe it's just that she chilled out when she got married and had a kid, but the fire isn't as bright in these songs. There are some great moments on this album; I'm particularly partial to "Johnny Feelgood" myself. But I would say that this is a case where it's probably worth it to buy individual songs rather than the whole album -- there are only about four songs from this album that I really love, and the other ones I can take or leave. But the good moments are good enough to earn this album a four-star rating overall, because they're just fantastic.
