Solo Jonas
Don't think this is a review by a swooning tweenager who worships the Jonas Brothers. I'm a 42 year old father of three who is passionate about music. The typical processed Disney output does not appeal to me.
That being said...
The first time I heard the title track it caught my attention, and I hoped Nick could make the rest of the album just as appealing. He did. Nick Jonas cuts loose from the teeny-pop he's been making with his brothers, and delivers good mix of rock and funk. The musicians play with passion, and the guitars and drums in particular sparkle. Nick stretches out vocally, and is not afraid to use a falsetto or scream when necessary. It's nice to hear a current musician make an album that does not rely on processed beats and auto-tune. This Jonas brother deserves to get some respect for the music on this release.
Grammy's 2011, here he comes.
Nick Jonas is a truly amazing musician. He really stepped out of his shell for this album, and I'm sure he doesn't regret it for one minute. Ten more outstanding songs by an even more outstanding musician. This kid will be a legend one day. Do not hesitate to buy this. It's incredible. And please, for those who aren't fans of the Jonas Brothers, listen to this with an open mind. It's not the same at all. If it was, it wouldn't be called Nick Jonas & The Administration.

nick jonas' album is a true artistic leap. i was at first very scared of what his sound was going to be like but i am pleasantly suprised. being a fan of the jonas brothers i was skeptical to enjoy this side project of his but i love it!!!! nicks album is amazing!!! favorites include: olive and and arrow and last time around!!!
