Waiting For this Forever
Ive been a huge fan of Rooney ever since The Princess Diaries, staring Robert Schwartzman (The lead singer of Rooney), came out. I absolutely loved their self titled album, Rooney, and after waiting for a long time for their second album, Calling the World finally came out and i was amazed again. Throughout this whole entire period, I've never been able to watch Rooney live. But seven years after I first became a fan and when this EP came out, I was able to watch Rooney live. This EP had things more like their first album, which in my opinion is still better than the second album. The songs on this EP have a different Rooney twist, it shows how the band has been able to mature musically. Ned Brower sings Wild One, and I definitely think Ned should sing some more often. I bought the EP at the concert, but if you didnt have the chance to buy it there, buy it on itunes, because this EP is absolutely amazing. For those Rooney fans who have been annoyed by how slow each Rooney album comes out, Rooney has now moved on from their record company. This allows them to make their own stuff and approve it much faster. So hopefully this means a new rooney album will come out every year :)

Finally, back to the basics and the old sound of Rooney! I love the tracks I have heard and can't wait to hear more!
This is a band that just won't quit.
After going through many years of touring, writing, recording, and even having movie roles, this band still keeps on reaching new heights. Even after breaking away form their label, the band took the DYI approach and released this EP. This is a very dedicated band who makes really great music. Go see them on tour this summer with Hanson!
