What a great show!

There are two great things about this show. One the great music of Cy Coleman . The other is Lucille Ball. This would many don't as unknown show . Where in fact it was a big hit . Lucy was 48 and just done with I love Lucy . This show had to be done with her in mind. She is not just good, she is great . If you like (and for the life of me don't know why) her in Mame . This show she was the right age and could sing in this show . If you want to hear how the show of Mame should sound . Buy the original broadway cast with Angela Lansbury . If Mame had been done at the time of this show and Lucy was in the movie then that would have been something. So by this if you love good show music and a great performance. You will love it .

Hey Ricky...Who needs you to be in a show!!!

Surprising gem...not surprising for Cy Coleman's music(always a joy), but for Lucille Ball's voice, which was obviously played down on "I Love Lucy". She does very well with all of her songs especially "What I want for Jamie" & "Hey,look me over".
