Long time fans beware
If you are a long time fan of Lorin's work be prepared for a gear shift. I have loved almost every song Lorin has ever created until this EP. Not to say that people wont enjoy it but I think songs like The 808 Track are radically different from Cozza Frenzy and Timestretch. I feel like there are fewer blow your head off bass lines and more grinding electro tones that make up the meat of the tracks. Wether there better or worse is your call but it is a definite departure from the style that has dominated some of my favorite tracks. I do however think that Underwater and Wildstyle method are quality listening pieces.
