A Spark of Brilliance in an Otherwise Incongruous Music Scene
A refreshing departure from the idiosyncrasies of modern pop music, "Window" is a distinct and eminent artwork that supersedes an otherwise mundane hodgepodge of contemporary acoustic projects. Where folk has failed to flourish, Delfina is modestly filling the void. One can not ignore the metaphorical value of her music and its powerful contribution to quaint themes such as unrequited love and patience. In an industry where such themes have lost their vigor, her presence is no less than paramount. By virtue of this musical redemption, "Window" is borderline philanthropic. I would like to conclude this review with a few words for the struggling music industry: "when life is defeating, just give it time"... because Delfina is on her way.
