Best band you've never heard of
You probably haven't heard of these guys, which means you can be the person to tell all your friends about them. Having seen them live, I can tell you this EP is only a small sampling of their talent, but it showcases a good range of their great music. "The Cold War" is as catchy a pop song as you'll find anywhere. "Big Bad Love" starts out slowly and sweetly, then builds into a raucous fast-paced crescendo. "Faster than the Wheel" is a meandering ballad which comes at a refreshing change of pace. "Strange Weather Patterns" takes off where Faster than the Wheel leaves off, and ends it with a bang. All these songs are solid, and from what I've heard on stage they have some even better material which will hopefully be available soon.

Really solid showcase of this band's obvious talent. Highly enjoyable listen. If you can, catch them live - they're fantastic.
