American Heavy Metal Weekend!
This is a fun album to put on at a party. Not their best but fun nonetheless. American Heavy Metal Weekend is funny.

Great punk album when the Jerks started to hybrid w/ the metal sound. funny and obnoxous lyrics and fun to party to. solid, but too short.

First punk band I cut my teeth on. With the need for more of the "sound", I expanded my punk horizons. Group Sex and Wonderful are must for any collection of great American punk bands. Where's Golden Shower of Hits???

Formed in 1979 by Black Flag vocalist Keith Morris and Redd Kross guitarist Greg Hetson, the Circle Jerks combined the rebelliousness of the Sex Pistols and Ramones with the aggressive athletic elements of the surfer/skateboarder crowd from Hermosa Beach. This coastal city just south of Los Angeles ignited the initial explosion of hardcore bands.
