How was this band not HUGE! Amazing album!
I can't comprehend how I just heard of this band after the passing of their frontman/leader. This is some incredible music that would definitely be right up the alley for any fan of Type O Negative/Katatonia/Paradise Lost, with a lot of the black humor of Type O, and vocally similar as well. The songs are incredible well written, and the hooks will get lodged in your skull quickly, after one listen I had several stuck in my head. If you can listen to "Your Ontario Town is a Burial Ground" and not find yourself humming the chorus, there is something wrong with you and you don't have a metal bone in your body. The lyrics are great as well, not a lot of flowery prose or complex metaphors, just direct, emotional lyrics about the pain and anguish of relationships and life in general. Buy this and Woods 4, you will NOT be disappointed.
