Eclectic Expressions
This collection of art escapes the traditional boundaries of what one thinks of when they hear the phrase, "another Christmas album". The artists that perform on this CD bring a little something from each ones library of styles. Katie Becker has a sonic quality in her voice much like that of Leigh Nash from Sixpence but with a waiflike resonance. Hiram Ring as always has a voice that just sounds like a good friend. David Green the ever consummate musician not just bass player and Matt Monticchio, what doesn’t he play; have produced a work that should be in ever music aficionados’ library. There are a few more artists that performed on this work and so little space to acknowledge each one individually. All that can be said is, bravo! It truly is a celebration of the grace bestowed on each one by the Creator.
Nice Variety
This is a good album. Lots of variety. Finally, someone has written some interesting arrangements of Christmas tunes! I would highly recommend this album to anyone looking for holiday music that has a different spin, but is still really nice to listen to.
It's Real
I love this album! It's the most refreshing Christmas album I've ever heard.
