Album Review

Forget that Rick Springfield was a soap star for a moment and listen to his music, because he made some of the finest guitar-driven mainstream pop/rock of the early '80s. Working Class Dog is his finest moment, filled with expertly crafted pop songs and highlighted by the massive hit "Jessie's Girl." [The 2006 25th Anniversary Edition features three bonus tracks.]

Wow,The batteries I went through with my Walkman, rewinding a particular song from this album that had bit me at the time. This is a transporter to my younger years, every song brings me back. Every song? Well, with a tape, you either a), heard the whole thing through, or b), rewind alot, which ment buying alot of batteries for the walkman!! We dont think of how much we changed the way we listen to a record or tape, vs a CD, or MP3. Many of these song will grow on ya if ya give em a listen or 2 8)

Jessie's Girl

Jessie's Girl is the standout track, and the demo is great. One of the songs that encompasses the feeling of the 80's. :)

Rick Springfield touched everyone with this album.........

I remember when I first heard his album my older brother played "Inside Sylvia" which he loved.... Then came all of his #1's. Still to this day when I here it I go back to the 80's and how much I enjoyed this album!!!! I'm now in my 40's and still love it the same! Thanks for all the great tunes! HEB
