Words Cannot Describe

I'm going to do my best to write an unbiased review here, but I'm going to have to be honest. I'm a rock/pop kid who has recently delved into the deeper bits of techno and synth music. I thought I would find nothing that matched exactly what I was looking for until I came across this. I was very reluctant to buy, knowing fully well that the tracks were most likely to be the same electronic cues and riffs for 8 minutes or so. This did not bother me in the least bit after hearing the first song. Imagine one of the best parts of your favorite song, the entire song is the best part when this album is concerned. Each song goes with an amazing beat and plays with it for a while. I know alot of people skimming over this review will pass up on ambient electronic music, but for anyone even mildly interested in either techno music, relaxing music, or anything close to that, this is extremely well worth the money, and I highly recommend it. Take it from someone who would never be caught listening to this, and now I'm sharing my love for this album with my friends, because of how addicting and amazing it really is. This album washes me away, for a lack of better words. And a hint: Listen to it while driving at night

I'm floating in underwater bliss...

I bought CBLF's first album, Hydroponic Garden, a couple years ago based on other online reviews. It became an instant "chill" favorite of mine. To my delight, this one is even better. It's fair to the say that the music "sounds" like the jellyfish image featured in the album art. It is slow, hypnotic, pulsating, dark and gentle. (Note to every manager of those big touristy aquariums across the country: You would be wise to play this album throughout the exhibit to enhance your guests' underwater explorations.) I buy a lot of electronic and ambient music, looking for just that perfect chillout buzz. I am often disappointed, but not with "World of Sleepers." It is nearly perfect, and already one of my favorite picks of the year.

Beautiful, Ambient Electronic Music

This entire album is beautiful, and relaxing to listen to. Carbon Based Lifeforms has a strange way of turning out electronic music that sounds organic. This is my first full length album purchase from iTunes. It was so worth it!
