Like a BSS Song
World Sick is another incredble track by Broken Social Scene... it has a subtle sound with a strong, and passionate kick to it! A definte buy to add to your collection.
Both pleasant and powerful
The bassline and guitar hook in the incipient moments of the song are indeed extremely inviting as you find yourself humming along with its pleasant yet catchy rhythm. As opposed to the pleasantries, the instrumentals and lyrics in the chorus are also downright powerful with the lines "I get world sick everytime I take a stand/ Well, I get world sick my love is for my land." Overall, the rising and falling of the song's melody might just leave you putting it on repeat.
