A Masterpiece
Whether you like jazz, funk, r&b, rock... or if you simply like good music, this album is a must buy. You have never heard anything like it. Brian has taken his music from an already high level to an even higher level. In a music industry full of clichés and formulas, Brian's music stands out for being fresh, new and innovative. XII is hot from beginning to the very end including the bonus track which wraps up the album very nicely. No cherry picking here, just get the whole album, you won't regret it.
Best Brian Yet
I watched this CD unfold before my eyes on you tube. I feel like I know all the songs. This is the best so far ! Every song gives you a different side of Brian !
Wow!
Wow - Brian really knocked it out of the park on this one. He has some great guest stars and they all deliver, especially Avant and Faith Evans. On top of that, though, the instrumentals are all really wonderful and diverse. I especially love the track "Forever" - what a beautiful melody! Highly recommended.
