Larry Hernandez is a regional Mexican singer who rose to mainstream success in 2009 with 16 Narco Corridos, a smash hit album of self-written material that he recorded in one day. Born in Los Angeles, CA, he moved at age four with his family to Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, and grew up there. He began his musical career in a group called Los Amables del Norte.
