Ya Rude is just the tip of the iceberg...
Choreographer, dancer, model, and recording artist Jonte has enjoyed a fair amount of success, particularly in the Japanese and European markets. Mostly known here in the states for the choreography he's done for Beyonce, Janet Jackson, and other artists, he's now branching out into music. As a big fan of both his musical and dance-related offerings, I can sincerely say that "Ya Rude" is just the tip of the iceberg in Jonte's music portfolio. His music is infused with many different influences from R&B to House and even touches of the Vogue Ballroom culture. Given his avant-garde style and music that's hard to pin down genre-wise, he hasn't yet found that same musical success here in the states. Overall, I hope you won't sleep on this highly underrated artist. Download "Ya Rude" and search online for some of his other tracks, like "Ya!Who?!", "In Control", "B*tch You Betta", and "Shut The Fu*k Up."
This is just the beginning for Jonté!
Now, with his androgynous image added to his ability to sing, rap, dance, and a lot more -- what do you expect? Pure excellence. Plus he's famous in Japanese society which I'm a big fan of, as well. JONTÉ IS GOING FURTHER.
The world isn't ready for him and will never be. He's too ahead of the game. ♫☻♡
