Good Summation
by musikat42Distilling David Lee Roth's solo career to just five songs is a little extreme...ten or twelve, easily. If you have to keep it down to five, though, this is a pretty good selection. I would argue that either "Damn Good" or "A Little Ain't Enough" would round this out better than "Yankee Rose"...both were bigger rock hits even if they didn't make the pop charts...but that's a small quibble, and the other four songs are spot on. Round this set out with the above two songs, consider throwing in "Sensible Shoes," "Tobacco Road" and "Goin' Crazy" for good measure, and you'll have practically all the solo Roth you could want.
