Beautiful Simplicity

Over and over I hear people ask the question, "why are these guys not big yet?" And even though I absolutely agree, I like when great bands don't get caught up in the fad. These guys are pure class. I would say that they are the best lyricists out there. Absolutely beautiful and it's almost impossible to believe, but they sound even better live. I'll support anything these guys do!

The Start of Something More

A wonderful beginning of a year long music project that is sure to be amazing. "Next to Me" is the standout track, but the other two hold their own and do not disappoint. Plus, the artwork is lovely; if you can dream up something that sounds like a moonlit jellyfish dance, you might have a tiny idea what Sleeping At Last sounds like.

Monthly music from a band I love!!!

Met the guys of Sleeping at Last at Cornerstone festival 2003, just after "Ghosts" was released. What an amazing band. Not only musically and vocally, but also thier individual lives. I agree with the other reviewer that this is one of the few bands that actually sound better live. Everything thing churn out is pure magic. You know when you get an album and you can listen to every track without skipping at least one our two? You can do that with every Sleeping at Last album. Do yourself a favor, and subscribe to "Yearbook" so you can get new music from and awesome band every month. I haven't ever left a review, but people need to check this band out. They are AMAZING!!!

Debuting in 1999 with the EP There's a Quiet Understanding, the trio started to build a local following, playing wherever possible and doing the occasional support gig for acts like Appleseed Cast and Switchfoot. After sparking the interest of Billy Corgan with their self-released full-length,...
