hi.... the Real JJ NOLIS here..... im not really reviewing my own recording as much as letting you know more about this song.
It was written by a singer/songwriter named, Beth Niesen Chapman..... one of my favorite songwriters... and singers..... I feel so
lucky to have come across this song a few years back.....
For those of you who don't know me , I'm a Huge Fan of Christmas .... as was my Mom, Tilly Nolis..... Tilly gave me the awesome
gift of Christmas Decorating ..... Sadly.... my Great MOM... past away over 3 years ago..... No one loved the Christmas Holiday Season... like my Mom.
When , Tilly died.... a part of me died with her.... But... AMAZINGLY.... After a couple of years without her.... My Mom is with me
MORE than ever ... IN MY HEART and Soul..... and so.... this song makes me think of all the YEARS... that i would drive home to my hometown of Endicott, New York.... and there would be the porch light on....with my Mom and Dad waiting for my arrival, and the Arrival of Family and Friends for what was ALWAYS... A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS......
and so.... i hope anyone who has ever gone home to your hometown ... after many years.... can relate to this

oh.... and it was recorded live in Nashville , Tn with the great pianist, Catherine Styron Marx and My dear Sound Engineer / Guitarist .... Cliff Goldmacher..... ( ps... My guitar playing is aweful... so Cliff kindly played like a champ on this song for me....
