A Complete Record

Though I have heard of the band since way way back to the Mo-Wax days, it has taken me till recently to give it the attention it deserves. I really love this album. When I put it on, I listen to the entire thing. I think is rare in an age of single MP3 downloads that really great records (like the whole thing) get produced. I also commend them for consistently trying new sounds and not re hashing the same sound. A new fav for sure!!

The Most Underrated Band

You Are Here, was worth the wait. As a sOuth fan from the first time I heard the first album, these guys get better with each record. You Are Here, has everything you expect from a sOuth record, but it isn't a replay of any of their other albums. Why these guys are the biggest band, I will never know. But selfishly, I am glad they not. Then they wouldn't be as cool. They are amazing live and you should buy this record and tell your friends.

They did it again!

Joel, Jamie and Brett just may be 3 of the most talented musician/songwriters around. You Are Here is full of solid rhythms and gorgeous melodies. The production is raw and real. The vocals and vocal melodies are outstanding throughout the entire album. 'Every Light Has Blown' is my personal favorite and is an instant classic. Check your local listings these guys are on tour, catch them if you can!

All are multi-instrumentalists — McDonald takes on vocal duties whereas all three participate in playing guitar, bass, percussion, and keyboards. South first delved into professional music by remixing cuts, later tinkering around with Ian Brown....
