A solid CD that has staying power!
I started following Tim Blane on twitter and discovered his music randomly. This dude can write a song! He is very talented and has a very mature sound. This is the kind of CD I would listen to with my windows down. It has a really cool feel to it. Best songs= Lay It All On Me & Love You Know.
This is not a review from a relative, just a fan
Among Ari Hest and Jon McLaughlin, Tim Blane is one of the most underrated songwriters out there. His lyrics are witty and his musical range is wide. On this album I hear influences from Springsteen, Paul Simon and Billy Joel. This album sounds a bit more produced than the past two, but it is still extremely strong.

Absolutely wonderful! As always. This is easily my favorite band, and this album is definitely worth grabbing!
