Last Time
thats the luckiest marching band ever
Six Stars!
This record is fantastic. It really is. Don't listen to this record trying to place it in your head amongst the other bands that you know and like or don't like. Don't pigeonhole. Just listen. Because these songs are gems. There's searing vitriol on Last Time, delicious bubble-gum on Hypnotized, and Stupid Job is a slacker anthem right up there with the Archers of Loaf's Underachievers March Song or Slack Motherfukker by Superchunk. The songs are smart, exciting, and infectious. If you don't give yourself the time and the luxury of falling in love with this record, then you'll miss out on a record that really is great rock and roll. No pretensions, not chasing after anybody else's sound, not trying to be something their not. Just incredible, gut-searing, mind-boggling rock and roll.
