I heard some Cerati influences, and turns out his parents are from Argentina!
I got this song from Starbucks and loved it. I heard some hints of Gustavo Cerati's solo work here and there (one of the biggest rock stars in argentine rock history) and when I read his profile: His parents are from Argentina. Although Diego seems to have been born in Detroit, his influences (Bowie and etc) seem to come very close at times with some of the stuff Cerati has done after Soda Stereo. This is an incredibly cool song, and I can't wait to download the rest of the album, which I will be doing just now.
