The Future
This track will make a believer out of even the most dubious skeptic who still doubts the expressive potential of fusing electronic and handmade beats. The tune is so seductive, at first it will simply put a smile on your face, get your toe tapping and your head bopping... and then, upon repeated listening, the artful complexity of the composition and production will reveal itself: the joyful interplay between the tabla, the cajon, and the electronics. I can't wait for what Electrocussion comes up with next. If this track is anything to go by, then I think we can safely say that this duo is on its way to ushering in a whole new era of percussion that is unbound by the tired limitations of genre, style or tradition. This is the future.
