Customer Reviews
A good ( not great) score
Always good to have John Debney scores released - a big, busy action score, fully orchestral. Not heavy on memorable themes, but colorful and fun anyway - big & busy, recommended!!
AMAZING!!
I absolutely loved the movie, so I decided to check out the soundtrack and I am very please that I did! It has amazing scores that are inovative and fun to listen to! Highly recommended! ...Don't listen to the bad opinions, those third graders know nothing about real music!
"Zathura" Score
The purpose of a soundtrack such as this is to showcase the score written by the composer, with "violins" and all that. The 100-piece symphony orchestra that performed the score played well, and the music is quite effective. It's bombastic, fun, and well-written. The score is written by veteran composer John Debney, who previously has composed "The Passion of the Christ", "The Princess Diaries", and "Dragonfly".
