This album clearly defines the Kalkbrenner sound. Not known in the States, yet, Paul K. has serious emotional tone that will provoc you bob your head or make love to your partner. Key tracks are Frühling, Selber, Smaragd and Mein Zipperlein (even though it's a short track). Calling this album a Chillout sound directly underscores of where Paul K. is going.

Paul Kalkbrenner is a DJ, musician and producer who became one of the leading lights on the German electronic music scene. Kalkbrenner was born in Leipzig in Eastern Germany in 1977, and began studying the trumpet when he was eight.
