Another Billy solo album

This is not Smashing Pumpkins. This is Billy's attempt to sell records under a name he knows will grab attention. And poor Jimmy's along for the ride. For those of you who heard the Zwan album or (*choke*) Billy's solo album, you know what I'm talking about. Having been a die-hard Pumpkins fan ever since Siamese Dream, I am utterly and completely disappointed. I sigh and cast a handful of earth into the grave of a once brilliant and mindblowing band.

Are you serious?

The reason that this was a USA sextuplet release was kind of the "Zeitgeist" theme. The cover of every single album released was the same in a different color. The red original was signifying the growth of a facsist nation. If you don't believe you are being screwed in some manner by the the "regime" then you go get Britneys new album and turn on Basketball. The Zeitgeist theme was meant to display that living in a time when American Idol and the talent shows on TV are so popular, they aren't giving us new ideas rather giving us what we want. The artist was taken out of music and created just a performer. I like the album... I am not going to go into the I am die hard...blah blah...blah. Just listen to the 30 second preview and buy it if you like.

Corgan was wise enough to exploit his angst-ridden lyrics, yet he never shied away from rock star posturing, even if he did cloak it in allegedly ironic...
