BRILLIANT!

This is a great album! It really shows you what MUCC is all about! I am totally in love with this band and have been for a while now. But I neeeeeever imagined Itunes was going to get them! I bet you'd love them and this album as much as me! --Yuki

Great album

Probably their heaviest album out of all their material. As usual, the opening track keeps you in the dark about what's going to happen next, and what happens next is an explosion of sound that knocks you on the floor. The rest of the album continues to beat on you and only gives you a few tracks where it mellows out enough to take a breather. Favorites include: 'Ranchuu', 'Waga, Arubeki Basho' and 'Kono Sen to Sora'. Honestly, this is a great band and this album is hard to pass by (unless you buy Kuchiki no Tou instead, then all is forgiven) especially for the small price tag. Very few japanese bands succeed at sticking out from the crowd of generic j-rock bands but these guys have been doing just that from the beginning.

ANOTHER HEAVY PIECE BY MUCC...AND.

This album is just as heavy as Kuchiki no Tou! But, it also has a few lighter tracks (like 1979), which are also good. Mucc can be heavy one minute and light the next. Although, I admit that most of this album is heavy. And just like the name says, "1979" sounds like it came from the late 70's (and, I'm not kidding), which brings variety to a awesome rock album like this. While at the same time, a track like "Bouzen Jishitsu" is REALLY, REALLY HEAVY (I'm talking Rob Zombie Heavy)!! This album is a good find for those looking for a album that has alot of heavy tracks, but also, lighter tracks. If you want somthing diffent, something heavy or something light, or a REAL GOOD ROCK N ROLL ALBUM, check this out, you won't regret it! Also, I recommend the Best of Mucc, it has ALOT of diffent styles in rock!

Biography

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '90s, '00s

Members of the Japanese visual kei movement of the 2000s, Mucc have managed to stand out from the rest of the pack due to their flexible approach to songwriting, which has incorporated nu-metal, industrial, technical thrash, and even disco, all laden with catchy hooks. The band was formed in 1997 by vocalist Tatoo (in 2000, he changed his stage name to Tatsuro), guitarist Miya, bassist Hiro, and drummer Satochi, and was named after a character from a TV show (they're known as 69 as well, since "six...
