Album Review
If heaviness is next to Godliness, Kidneythieves took a few steps closer to heaven on Zerospace. Taking cues from the more arduous Trent Reznor abrasions as opposed to the likes of Garbage and Curve, the talented duo still manages to employ hook-laden songcraft that would work whether the listener's intent is to bang their head (the title track, the explosive "Black Bullet") or shimmy seductively across a dancefloor (the haunting "Arsenal" and Patsy Cline's "Crazy," which was originally on the Child's Play 4: The Bride of Chucky soundtrack). Goth fans will also find a lot to like here, thanks to an overall sinister vibe and the sultry, impassioned vocals of Free Dominguez, which have never been stronger. ~ Brian O'Neill, Rovi

Excellence in Industrial rock
make trent reznor into a more clever and more attractive woman and this is what you get. Beautiful voice, Amazing album, Perfect execution. I know it's been awhile since Kidneythieves has given us something else to listen to since this album but it's well worth the wait and until then i'll have "Before I'm Dead" and "Zerospace" on repeat. definitely a band with a future in industrial rock.
Excellent Album!
I'd have to say that KT are def one of my top picks for some music to get me through my work day. Placebo, Arsenal and Spank would have to be some of my favorite tracks. They also did a great cover of the song "Crazy". Those of you that don't already know, they did infact break up in 2004. Now however, there are infact new songs up on their Myspace page and Free is collaborating with Bruce Somers again and they have a new EP comming out soon under the KT band name. Free also has her own acoustic solo project album, "Freedoming" which is available on iTunes aswell. Dominguez also made mention of a new project she is working on called "Hex Orchestra".
Drink the Ocean...
Been digging this band for a long time, and this is one of my favorite CD's of all time. Free Dominguez is one of the best female vocalists. Anyone who enjoys this CD, the band just independently released a brand new CD only available on their website. It's definately worth getting! Help out a struggling band who truely deserves it!!
