Description
Animal Sliding Flashcards is a series of flash cards where each card is presented in a series of six pieces. As your child touches the screen each piece slides in until the whole picture is complete. Then the name of the animal is displayed and its name is pronounced.
Created by the father of a toddler, this application has been designed specifically to be used by toddlers. There are no ads for your child to accidentally tap. There are no menus or settings screens or anything extraneous your child could accidentally tap on and get frustrated with. If your child can tap anywhere on the screen and keep tapping then Animal Cards will entertain and delight. It is impossible to use this app wrong or to not progress through the cards. In addition to entertaining it teaches your child the names of 50 different animals and how to pronounce their names.
Updates to add new cards will be forthcoming.
Animal Cards is designed for the iPhone and iPod Touch but the photos look surprisingly good on the iPad in 2x mode. Native iPad support will be coming in a free update soon.
